Cons: there are MISTAKES in some of the answer keys. also apparently the problems don't resemble those from the real SAT very well. 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By David Rosner (New York, USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 11 Practice Tests for the SAT & PSAT, 2011 Edition (College Test Preparation) (Paperback) Excellent book with lots of practice tests, 11 to be exact. The only problem is that each is missing the diagnostic section, making them one section shorter than the actual test. I'd recommend the Princeton Review Cracking the SAT 2010-11 book with four complete practice tests before this one. This book can provide additional practice exams afterwards. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 11 Practice Tests for the SAT & PSAT, 2011 Edition (College Test Preparation) (Paperback) My oldest daughter used the 2009 version and it was very helpful for her. So we bought the new edition for her younger sister. But the 2009 edition allowed my oldest to score her practice tests online, which she found very convenient and helpful. This 2011 edition does not have that option. You can still check your scores manually. The important thing, of course, is to actually use the book, practice a lot, and carefully review what you got wrong. In the essentials we expect this book to be useful, just not as convenient as the older edition. |
