I purchased this book for my son so that we could get a better idea of just how comprehensive the ACT test is, and its level of difficulty, so that we could determine whether or not we should hire a private tutor. I don't think a tutor would have been any more helpful than this book was, and would have cost me about 100 times more. I do believe the thickness of the book intimidated my son a bit, but I've gotten him to agree to one chapter a week and so far this has worked out pretty well. It comes with a practice CD with five complete tests inside so you can get a realistic idea of your capabilities in each of the five sections, and what areas need further review.

ACT of Dummies arrived on time and in great condition. It looks like its a great review and offers excellent tips for the ACT test... now if you could only force my kid to read it!
