This book is kinda helpful when studying for the HESI exam. However there are several mistakes in the book. On page 36 it states that 1 pound is 2.2 kilograms. It is actually 1 KILOGRAM is 2.2 Pounds. I have contacted HESI and that was about as helpful as beating my head against a wall. We are keeping a running total in my study group. If you don't have some basic knowledge you might miss these errors

Book is very helpful I have taken exam before and it covers everything you need to know about the HESI Entrance Exam.

This review was very helpful in the math, reading, and grammar sections. I also liked the fact that there were more practice tests for science compared to the second edition. There were pictures which helped to make info more clear. However this edition still does not prepare you at all for the anatomy. I bought the McGraw Hill book and used notes to help with a&p. There was a couple extra pages in chemistry in this edition that ins't in the old edition which did help. Overall: I would definitely recommend this book over the second edition!
