This book has awesome questions discussing multiple relevant concepts... Most of them are high level (I would say above 42 level).. The best part is that it doesn't just tell you how to solve a question, like most other books of other test prep companies do, it teaches you how to evaluate a type of questions and it guides you on how to think.. It discusses the underlying algebra which is all the more important now since GMAT's quant is getting more difficult by the day.. Gone are the days when you could back solve using options, which is the method still taught by many other test preps... The detailed algebraic solutions aided my understanding and gave me a lot of confidence... I would recommend this book to anyone in a heartbeat...

If you desire to raise your quant score and get above the 80th percentile in quant, you have to have this book. So much of the GMAT is being comfortable with translating word problems. There are over 130 problems in the guide. The book covers about 90+ percent of the type of word problems that you will see on the GMAT. I raised my quant score from 47 to 49 mainly by just going through this book twice and making sure that I was comfortable with all of the questions that the book contains. After going through this book, nothing the GMAT throws at you will intimidate you. It is an excellent resource and each explanation in the back of the book is great. A huge plus about this book is that the author explains how to do each problem algebraicly. Some test companies will just default to plugging in numbers or back solving to solve difficult problems and never explain the underlying algebra. This book does an amazing job of presenting a wide variety of advanced GMAT quant questions. From personal experience, I bought several GMAT study guides, and none of them included questions with such detailed solution explanations. This book allows you to create a strategy to solve the most difficult questions quickly and correctly. i felt that being able to complete the questions in this book really gave me a lot of confidence and an edge over other test takers. It all paid off in the end- a definite worthy investment!
