The curriculum they have created carries good tips and strategies. However, I agree with their philosophy of not relying on gimmicks, but mainly on making sure you do the right exercises to improve your score. If you are self-studying (which I did), then you will especially enjoy the detailed syllabus they provide for self-studying. It helps you be on track and on schedule, and know when to say when something was lacking or enough. This review is from: Atlas LSAT Logical Reasoning Strategy Guide (Paperback) At the onset of my quest to find the best LSAT study books that are available, I purchased books from Powerscore, Kaplan, Princeton, Examkrackers, McGraw-Hill, and NOVA Press but it is the Atlas LSAT Study Guides that I settled on to ensure I obtained the highest LSAT score possible. I purchased all three (3) Atlas LSAT Strategy Guides (i.e., Logical Reasoning, Logical Games and Reading Comprehension) and I also purchased two (2) Atlas LSAT Practice Books, which both contain only official LSATs. The Atlas practice books compliment the entire Atlas Self Study Plan, which offers FREE online access to their LSAT Forum, plus one (1) hour of FREE private tutoring. I could not believe how much FREE stuff you get with the purchase of the Atlas guides not to mention they have awesome customer service. Anyway, the logical reasoning book, as well as, the other Atlas books is comprehensive but very easy to read. The Atlas approach is not overly complicated like the other LSAT books that are...Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By VIOLET (New York, NY USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Manhattan LSAT Logical Reasoning Strategy Guide (LSAT Strategy Guide) (Paperback) I bought this book and am surprised at how helpful it is really is.
I have the POWERSCORE LR BIBLE which is very good but this book is better. It gives you numerous exercises on the necessary and sufficient assumptions and explains them in detail. I love this book. I am scheduled for the December 2011 test and really hope that this book will improve my score. |
