I used this book last year to help me study. It has a very helpful list of terms in the back that I studied. It is a good supplement for students who have taken a course in school and want to review for the test. The tips for essay writing were decent, although what I learned in class form my teacher was more helpful. The practice tests were definitely the best part. They were a pretty accurate reflection of what the test was really like. All in all, I would definitely recommend this book!

This book really focuses on the test and not so much content at all. There's barely any summary of the actual history, but if what you struggle with is the free response or document-based question then this may help you with your essay. Otherwise, go with 5 Steps to a 5, it's much more comprehensive.

More of a testing book than a review book.,

My daughter thought this book was good for testing, you need another book for "review". We HIGHLY recommend P U.S. History Crash Course: AP U.S. History Crash Course (REA: The Test Prep AP Teachers Recommend). I reviewed it on the Amazon site, but the net - it was amazing at predicting the questions/topics that would be on the test.
