The CLEP, or College Level Examination Program, is a college-entrance test battery given to adults who return to the classroom after an absence of several years--in frequent cases, after working at a full-time job or raising a family. This updated manual presents two full-length sample examinations in College Composition, College Composition Modular, Humanities, College Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences--History. All exams come with answer keys, a scoring chart, and answer explanations. Subject reviews are also presented for all test topics..
I have used a number of study guides for taking CLEP tests and this one was pretty good, except for one major problem: there were a lot of typos. Names were misspelled, letters were jumbled on the multiple choice answers and also on the Humanities practice tests, some of the pictures they were using were so dark and small that I could not make them out. Overall, it was a good purchase since it gave me a better idea of what I needed to study.

Any study guide should be considered just a sample of what MAY be asked, and this is very true regarding the humanities section. I recommend using several sources in addition to this one. Just tested out and barely made it. My rough guess is that 10% of the 140 question test had content related to what was in the sample tests.
Good luck, JJ
