This review is from: Cheating The LSAT: The Fox Test Prep Guide to a Real LSAT, Volume 1 (Paperback)
I took Nathan Fox's LSAT prep course in the beginning of 2011, and it helped me TREMENDOUSLY. This resource is basically Nathan in a book--you can see his personality, his humor, and his sincerity in every word. He thoroughly explains why an answer is correct as well as why an answer is wrong. Best of all, his explanations MAKE SENSE. He goes through every section of the LSAT, and does the logic games especially well. If have trouble with the games, this book will provide a CLEAR method of attacking each question. Furthermore, this man is FUNNY and this book is full of humor. The LSAT is notoriously difficult, but this book actually ENGAGES you. You WANT to read it because its actually well written and funny to read, so you are being entertained and learning at the same time.
If you happen to live in San Francisco or around the area, I would highly suggest you try take one of Nathan's courses. He will not sugar coat the class, but give you a straightforward and fun...Read more

Take it from an experienced NYC LSAT tutor- this is by far the best set of LSAT explanations on the market. It is better than any other set I've seen including the generally poor quality explanations included in the Superprep book put out by LSAC.
There are a few things that make these explanations so good. First of all (as much as is possible), the author approaches the questions as if he doesn't already know the answer. What that means is that you can see his through process throughout and he isn't taking shortcuts along the way that will leave the reader befuddled. Although this sounds like something easy and obvious, it is actually extremely difficult to do and its something that no other explanations manage to do. Secondly the author is clearly knows how to write and explain concepts. He is explaining them in a broad view which helps you understand not only why the particular problem is correct, but will also help you to understand other problems. Thirdly and...Read more

Simple and Effective - One of the best LSAT prep resources out there,

This review is from: Cheating The LSAT: The Fox Test Prep Guide to a Real LSAT, Volume 1 (Paperback)
I took Nathan's LSAT class this fall, which was absolutely stellar. After reading through his book, I realized that he had effectively and succinctly synthesized the most useful parts of that class into an LSAT resource unlike any other I've come across. I've taken a Testmasters class and tried out a number of the test prep books (Kaplan, Princeton Review, Barons, etc.) but none were as entertaining and easy to understand while still being thorough in the analysis of the LSAT as a whole. This book does a phenomenal job of that by focusing on one test in particular. While other classes and books can feel overloaded with logical theory and complicated explanations, this one makes it all simple, and lets you know up front what you need to focus on to get the best score you can. Thanks Nathan!
