This review is from: Cracking the AP European History Exam, 2011 Edition (College Test Preparation) (Paperback) This is an excellent prep book for the AP exam. I started using this book mid-year and I would say the information is pretty good. It gives you all the information you will need for the AP exam and some extra for your own good. But overall, it is definitely a better read than the actual textbook. The practice sections are slightly harder than the actual AP exam but give you a good sense of the questions. I only studied off this book and got a 4 on my exam. This is perfect! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Cracking the AP European History Exam, 2011 Edition (College Test Preparation) (Paperback) I read this book the week before the ap test and man was it tough. Trust me, the review sections are absolutely great and really give you all the important information, but I definitely think they could have condensed this book down a lot. It was about half the size of my textbook and I stayed home "sick" the day before the test to finish this book, but I'm glad I did. I retained a lot of the information presented in the book and the practice problems really mimicked the stuff that was on the exam. If you have a lot of time, you'll definitely want this book, but if you're in a crunch, go with the ap euro crash course. It's so much easier to read and gives you only the necessary information. |
