270 pages covering all topics in MCAT biology, color illustrations, index, nine 30-minute MCAT practice exams with answers and explanations (207 questions), 216 additional MCAT practice questions also with answers and explanations. This book covers all the biology tested by the MCAT plus "background" biology not tested directly but used in the context of MCAT questions and passages. The book is divided into nine topics. Each topic has a thirty-minute MCAT practice exam. The exams are MCAT-accurate down to the font. Each exam is accompanied by answers and explanations which include instructions on how to answer specific questions more quickly and accurately. The book is perfect bound, printed on top quality paper in full color, and has a laminated color cover. It is the same book used in the EXAMKRACKERS MCAT preparation course. It is more MCAT-accurate, more thorough, and more conceptual than any other MCAT prep book on the market.
This review is from: ExamKrackers MCAT Biology (Paperback)
This was oe of my study references for the MCAT. I recommend this one because it has a lot of useful info that one needs to know for the biology portion of MCAT.
Another useful reference is "The Ultimate Study Guide for Biology:Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations (Topics:Origin of Living Things & Chemistry of Life, Structure and Function of the Cell & Energy Pathways, Reproduction and Heredity, Genetics) Volume 1 by Patrick Leonardi
This last study guide had wonderful questions/explanations that were quite comprehensive for the biology part of the MCAT.
