Do not waste your money on this, I only got it as a Kindle book because it was for free. Kaplan is bad at law school products (such as LSAT preparation), and this book is no exception. It's riddled with typos and other errors!

The information is relevant and helpful. A lot of the info about financing it seems somewhat common sense and can be found elsewhere, but this collates it all into one area.
I haven't looked into alternatives, but I think this is decent.
