5.0 out of 5 stars Grouped by Question Type is Better Than Kaplan LSAT Mastery Practice, February 4, 2010
This review is from: GROUPED by Question Type: LSAT Logical Reasoning: The Complete Collection of Actual, Official Logical Reasoning Questions from PrepTests 1-20 (Paperback)
I've recently written a more detailed review of this book on my LSAT blog. However, I just wanted to briefly note that this book is much better than the previous alternative, Kaplan LSAT Mastery Practice.

Grouped by Question Type contains every LSAT Logical Reasoning Question from PrepTests 1-20, so it includes some Logical Reasoning questions that are otherwise out-of-print and difficult to find in book form. It organizes LR questions according to various categories based upon their question stems, while the Kaplan Mastery book lumps together some questions that are different from each other in major ways and includes a random assortment of questions.

This book is definitely worth getting if you plan to go through Logical Reasoning questions in PrepTests 1-20.

5.0 out of 5 stars Grouped by Question Type Has A Lot of Study Material, February 11, 2010

This review is from: GROUPED by Question Type: LSAT Logical Reasoning: The Complete Collection of Actual, Official Logical Reasoning Questions from PrepTests 1-20 (Paperback)
I agree with the review from Stephan Schwartz. Having all logical reasoning questions in one book and grouped by question type makes it easier to study and is very convenient for practicing my weak areas. I haven't even finished the book yet and already I feel like I have significantly improved on logical reasoning. The price was pretty good considering you get questions from 20 PrepTests.

I know a lot of LSAT prep books give tips on how to study or strategies but this book gave me material to study. Practicing the questions helps you come up with a strategy on how to approach the questions during the LSAT. It becomes muscle memory for the brain in a way that reading about test strategy will never compare to. You don't have to go through all the questions at once but can go at your own speed so you can really master the question types.

I really recommend this book for people having trouble or wanting to brush up on logical reasoning when studying for...Read more
