Best Logic Games Book, hands down!,

This review is from: Atlas LSAT Logic Games Strategy Guide (Paperback)
After searching high and low for the perfect LSAT logic games book, I almost gave up on finding a prep guide that would break down the games and make them understandable. I will say this with full confidence: This Logic Games Prep Guide even brings the mighty Powerscore Logic Games Bible to its knees!! I've used Powerscore, Nova Master the LSAT, ExamKrackers, and Kaplan; and in my opinion, Atlas has the best setups and tips on the market. Before, I had difficulty attacking logic games and I grew frustrated over the games. Now, I confidently shred through the different games and I actually have fun doing the games! This book is definitely a treasure within a sea of LSAT prep books! I highly recommend it!

I am so happy with this book! I used 4 others and this is the best, BY FAR! I took the LSAT in Dec and the games were EASY after working in this book. I took the LSAT in September and canceled my score because I was struggling with the games. What a difference this time! FANTASTIC! Thank you!

This book is worth buying for its superior treatment of sequencing and in/out grouping games. Powerscore's methods for the former are clunky while the latter is virtually non existent. In detail:
-Atlas' "tree" method helped me take games that confused me a bit and now they are the easiest type. Why? The tree takes about 30 seconds to set up and cannot be misread if you understand the principles.
-Atlas' in out diagram absorbs every possible variable and puts it in front of you in a format where you start at certain point and trace the lines until you reach a the end. There's zero guessing and no sense of, "Did I miss something?" Be warned their methods have a fairly steep learning curve, but the payoff is well worth the effort.
Their methods for every other type of game are also very good, not better than Powerscore, not worse, just a little different.
The verdict: Buy this book if you are just getting into LG or if you have any sort of...Read more
