Really solid series, especially for those looking for top scores.,

I took the LSAT twice during my senior year of college, scoring 166 on both tests. I had done about a month and a half of self-prep before each of these administrations, and used the Powerscore Bible series along with practice tests. I frequently post on top-law-schools.com and several users thought that Manhattan series was great, so I decided to try the reading comp guide (which was my weakest section). I created a study group on TLS, and Manhattan's managing director got a hold of me, asking if I'd be interested in having a free online room where my fellow studiers and I could meet to work on prep together. He also decided to send me a copy of each of the books without asking me to pay.
The Logic Games guide is really solid. It breaks down the game types into general categories, so that if you get a weird game type, you can still attack it within one (or more) of these constructs. While some of Powerscore's methods are as good as Manhattan's, they are not better, and...Read more

I have been studying for the LSAT on and off for about two years and could not find a prep book or online tool that produced results and KEPT MY ATTENTION. This book has done both. It is easy to focus on, the methods explained come naturally, and it basically saved me from being stuck in the mid-160s. If you are a serious applicant, trying to prep, and can't find a book that actually makes you want to study -- buy this series and it will not let you down. I've never wanted to or tried to prepare for standardized tests before and have taken many. This book makes it easy and interesting, and really helped me stay focused and learn the key to the LSAT.
BUY THEM.

I used the Manhattan Guides coupled with their online program and I highly recommend it. I had been studying on my own with a Princeton Review Book and I found Manhattan to be far superior. All three guides are incredibly in depth and offer strategies that are easy to grasp if you put in the effort and more importantly repeatable. I am currently a senior and I have attended the free workshops that other test prep companies offered on campus and one of the things I noticed amongst some of them was that they advertised little tricks that supposedly would help you. For example, one rep from a test company told us a supposed trick about how to guess the right answer if you ran out of time. What was refreshing and impressive to me about Manhattan is that instead of tricks they emphasize understanding the test and learning good strategies that I quickly became comfortable using, and it gave me much more confidence going into the test. These guides go above and beyond though in the way that...Read more
