The book is not close to real test and it doesn't help me at all. It's kind of too easy. The test prep book is not a good way to prepare for ACT; a solid four-year high school study is the only way.

I purchased several books on this topic for my high school daughter who is a C student. This was the only book she "used" to STUDY for the ACT. The other book she used was the ACT practice test by McGraw hill, but that was not a "study guide" just a bunch of practice tests. The rest she of the books study guide books, she were looked at and returned to the shelf. She said,"This book is the best of the bunch!" This book is straight foward, and well written. Answers are easy to understand and clearly explained. Note: My daughter said this book is written for the typical high school student. If you are "superstar" trying for a perfect 36, try McGraw-Hill's TOP 50 SKILLS FOR A TOP SCORE. She took the test and recieved a 24,22 on the English and writing parts.
