Summary: Don't buy this book, it's full of errors! 2008-10-29
Comment: I borrowed this book from my local library and I am glad that I didn't waste money on it. The fact that I'm taking the time to write a review on Amazon tells you how bad it is. It is full of typos, incorrect answers, and poorly worded questions. It is true that the explanations may help you develop strategies to answer questions but do you really want to sort through the mistakes when you are trying to study?

Summary: Probably the best book 2008-09-14
Comment: I read about how bad this book is suppose to be, yet to me it is the best book out there. I have gone through many of the game books, and this is by far the best. The problem with other books is that they don't show you the steps to diagramming, which is the hardest part of the game, and just give you the final diagram. I too went from getting most wrong to getting nearly 100% everytime after using their technique. Once I got the diagraming tech down, the games became second nature.

Summary: mind-blowingly bad 2008-09-13
Comment: i'm not going to say anything new here, but this is pretty much the worst test prep book i've ever wasted money and time on. the formal logic section is useless: almost every other games problem gives you the wrong answer. worse, they don't give you anything by way of explanation. they teach you a somewhat useful method of solving formal logic problems, but it doesn't seem like their test writer actually used their own technique. i'm sitting here doing these problems, and i just spent a good half an hour puzzling over why i'm not getting the correct answers with the methods they're using. their testwriter must be a moron.
the one redeeming quality to this book is the fact that intelligent, studious testtakers will be able to diagnose why their answers are correct, while the book's answers are wrong. that in itself is good practice. however, you don't go into the LSAT assuming that their questions are going to problematic (which is what you'll have to do with this book). you paid for a decent testbook that reliably gives you good practice questions and will allow you to get better at taking the damn test. and also, you don't get to check your answers on the LSAT to see how you're doing - you won't be able wonder whether your answer is wrong because you did it wrong, or if the test is wrong.
stay away from this one.

Summary: What a joke! 2008-09-12
Comment: Alright, I bought this book as to supplement the Kaplan books I already have, really just for extra practice games leading up to the LSAT. HOWEVER, I am so disappointed!
First of all, ALL of the examples use the same ABCDEFG variables, which gets confusing after a while, and they never do that on the LSAT.
Secondly, 99% of the answer choices offer a "NONE OF THESE" option, which is NEVER used on the LSAT.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use the formal logic section of the book. It teaches you a technique that is WRONG and they use "and" and "or" interchangably which you can't do!
The examples don't come from actual LSATs and most of them are stupid.
Honestly, I think this book HURT me in the study process. Please avoid and buy the Kaplan Logic Games workbook or another book that uses REAL LSAT questions.

Summary: DO NOT PURCHASE! 2008-09-08
Comment: As other reviewers have mentioned, this book is atrociously bad. It is filled with misprints and typos, and some of the answers to their sample questions are downright wrong. Also, the questions used do not seem very similar to the actual logic games used in recent LSATs. Furthermore, while the book promises that with the purchase you can get 3 months of additional help on their website, it is impossible to log on. I don't know if Curvebreakers even still exists! All the email addresses on their website bounce back to sender, and on their voicemail they say they don't answer the phone or check messages, but to contact them via email instead. Of course on another invalid address.
