3.0 out of 5 stars not great, but not too bad, September 30, 2010

The strategies and techniques taught in this book were very useful. However, this book is filled with errors. After working through the first section of the book I thought I was losing my mind because the principles that they had taught me, and I had applied, were generating (according to the book) the wrong answers. But the answers that the book said were correct were blatantly contradictory to the constraints of the questions. I cannot in good faith recommend this book, especially if you are using it as a sole resource, however the logic techniques and principles were somewhat useful. Just watch for the errors.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not to be taken too seriously, February 26, 2011

If you're just looking to practice logic games, it's not so bad, this book is full of them. However, some questions were worded ambiguously and some answers were contradicting. If you run into some issues with the given answers and cannot figure out what you did wrong, don't worry about it, just move on. It seems the authors and editors with this practice guide were more concerned about quantity rather than quality.

This book has at least 11 typos by page 33. These are serious mistakes because most of them deal with the answers or key elements of the lesson. Don't buy this one!
