So perfectly organized. Helped me keep my teenager on track as well as providing me confidence that I was giving her the right material and not wasting time and energy. I would start with McGraw's all in one book that covers all the subjects first and then determine if I needed this.

This book is proving to be a big help to the girl I am tutoring. I had borrowed the Barron's version of the book from the library, which is also great, but decided to go with the McGraw-Hill version when purchasing.
I am very happy that I did!

This is a good book. But it doesn't cover everything. I wanted to see more as far as dangling participles, prepositions (not just phrases) interrogatives, paraphrases, clauses, and the very basic structure of English. I would also like to see more punctuation. If you have already taken an English course this is good. But not for the novice. It covers the basics. But does not go far enough!
