It's great for practice. I went to school in Asia and it's hard for employers to verify my education. I figured, I'd just sit for the GED and just get it done and over with. The book helped me prepare for the exam. I didn't go to any school for the GED and relied solely on the workbooks published by McGraw-Hills. I passed with an average of score of 700.

I bought this because I needed more practice problems to study for the GED. It has those in there but the book is awfully thin. But at least I can get some use out of it.

This work book is well organized and has been very useful in the volunteer tutoring of pre GED students.I would recommend it to anyone involved in teaching and tutoring Math.
At the same time I would add a little encouragement to our senior professionals.
Manatee county ,Florida has a team of volunteers who tutor students at Manatee Technical Institute(MTI) who are not well prepared in Math. and English so they can succeessfully take the GED course.
MTI located in Bradenton,Florida.If you have some spare time on your hands,give them a call 941-751-7900,Ext 2174 and tell them that you like to help.If ou spend just the winter months in Florida or if you are a permanent
resident we like to have you help us educate some of these young adults.
