In my preparation for the new, revised GRE, I have used this book from Kaplan, Princeton Review's New GRE prep book, Barron's essential vocabulary, "30 Days to a More Powerful Vocabulary" by Funk and Lewis, and various dictionaries, Latin dictionaries, and various sources for word roots.

Please be aware that the following 2011 Kaplan New GRE books are essentially the same:
NEW GRE: Strategies, Practice and Review
and
New GRE: Premier 2011-2012
I have not compared the online or cd-rom practice tests but the content of the book is probably 90 % shared.

This is a great book to study from if you use it along with Barron's New GRE, 19th Edition (Barron's Gre). Using both books together helps to understand all the math concepts better. The Kaplan book alone is not enough as it glosses over certain math concepts and the Barron's book is not enough because it isn't organized or worded as well as the Kaplan book. You need both books to complete your GRE prep.
Other good GRE books you might want to have are McGraw-Hill's New GRE, 2011-2012 Edition (Mcgraw-Hill's Gre (Book Only)) and ...Read more
