Info on the authors was helpful, recommended reading list was lengthy - I read most of the poetry and found overviews for most of the suggested novels and received a 67 on the CLEP.

this is more of a concise history book that just references other books, I would not recommend this to anyone. the book does not prepare you at all for the CLEP test of even the practice test the book has.

This condensed book is an overall review of the entire Literature class taught at any college for 3 units.
It is detailed without being overwhelming. It is both time saving and well organized.
