Are you tired of memorizing hundreds of facts that would never be tested on the real MCAT? There are many companies that are happy to have you memorize names of dead scientists or the structures of all 20 alpha amino acids and much more. The Gold Standard has a different approach. George Bernard Shaw once apologized to a friend for having written a long letter; he said he did not have enough time to write a short letter! The Gold Standard has taken the time to condense an enormous amount of material into 54 high quality poker sized cards containing over 200 of the most frequently tested concepts from the new MCAT CBT. In fact, The Gold Standard s Complete MCAT Course (Platinum Program) is a short letter to you, the premed student, containing the information you need to know to become a medical student. If you don't have time to waste, remember our name. Good luck and let's get started.

The Gold Standard new MCAT CBT Deck of Flashcards (Science Review), 2010 Ed.

I use flashcards for most of my classes (of course it means doing them myself). I like them because they summarize a large amount of info. So here is the trick: the more it summarizes, the easier to use, the more you can master a certain set of facts or concepts. But if your flashcards end up just being a small font version of your book then just read the book!
So imo I liked thse cards because they summarized a ridiculous about of info. BUT don't expect 10 MCAT books to be summarized on 54 cards or you will be dissapointed. What i got from it was the most frequent stuff in each topic that you'll see again and again on aamc tests.

Good quality cards but only useful for studying! You can't really use it to play cards unless your pretty creative because you're going to memorize the questions! Anyways, the content is dense, brief and well worth the price. Very little verbal but all the equations you need to memorize, useful bio/org.

I expected in just a deck of cards some general info, instead i got overly applied concepts. A typical question would be what equations do you need to memorize to answer a question about such n such then on the other side would be 10 random equations, or you would get a needlessly complex question you would not see on the mcat. I got the feeling the people that made this card just wanted to tell themselves how smart they are. If you want a good study tool get an examkracker book.
