The total GMAT Math book is an excellent overall product. The author has written a *serious* math book for those who are willing to invest their time and effort into strengthening their quant skills. There are no shortcuts or gimmicks -- this book will appeal to serious test takers.
The only downside to this book is its cost. With no accompanying CAT exams or online question banks, this book is slightly overpriced compared to books written by Kaplan and Manhattan (both of which provide free access to several online full length tests and questions banks, and are considerably less expensive to begin with).
Love this book, nothing else,

I'm just preparing for the GMAT. I started before with the Manthattan GMAT quant material. I went through half of it , but on the GMAT practice test got a poor result. I was having a dilemma, whether is this the right material for prep. I know before about the Total Gmat and really liked Jeff's tips on the site. They were straightforward, no fancy and up to the point.
So even though, its 50$, i decided go give it a chance and NOT continue with MGMAT.
I really love the book. The concepts are explained in a simple way. The pracice does REALLY POUND the concept into your head. Jeff's explanations are also great (in fact, there were just 3qs in the book i didnt understand).
Jeff give good tips about the time management and similiar.
