This review is from: Veterinary Medical School Admission Requirements: 2010 Edition for 2011 Matriculation (Perfect Paperback) Buy this if you want to be a veterinarian.
Better yet, buy this if one of your kids wants to be a vet--and do it while the kid is still in high school. The road to vet school is just as difficult--and in some ways more difficult--as the road to medical school. This book is full of practical suggestions--and solid information--about how you MUST be educated, and what experiences you MUST have to be attractive to veterinary schools. It is not one of those fluffy, dime-a-dozen "how to write your essay" sorts of admissions books, but instead a dry manual on what it takes to become a vet--both in and out of school. This review is from: Veterinary Medical School Admission Requirements: 2010 Edition for 2011 Matriculation (Perfect Paperback) I really like this book and wish I would have know about it's existence 2 years ago. It contains lots of helpful information like descriptions for each vet school, what the average GPA and GRE scores of the previous accepted classes were, contact information, application requirements, deadlines, and so on. It's much easier flipping through this book to find information on the schools than going to each individual website and searching for information. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Veterinary Medical School Admission Requirements: 2010 Edition for 2011 Matriculation (Perfect Paperback) This handbook is very informative and extremely helpful! It allows you to compare the vet schools across the country and internationally. Great resource! |
