Better yet, buy this if one of your kids wants to be a vet--and do it while the kid is still in high school. The road to vet school is just as difficult--and in some ways more difficult--as the road to medical school. This book is full of practical suggestions--and solid information--about how you MUST be educated, and what experiences you MUST have to be attractive to veterinary schools. It is not one of those fluffy, dime-a-dozen "how to write your essay" sorts of admissions books, but instead a dry manual on what it takes to become a vet--both in and out of school. It's much easier flipping through this book to find information on the schools than going to each individual website and searching for information.
